Lovely place, very friendly and thorough. I’ve never had someone put so much attention towards my dog. I recommended a friend switch vets to here and they just had their visit today too, they also loved this place. Will be considering this my main vet from now on. Including a picture of my dog after he destroyed a giant toy.

We love Whole Pet! I took all three of my rescue Chiweenies there. The front desk people are welcoming and put you in a private room quickly. The vets and vet techs are all very thoughtful and understanding of my dogs’ quirks. Vet tech Nathan is super friendly and thoughtful with the small pups. Twice we’ve been in for last-minute emergency visits and Dr. Calo fit us in quickly, explained everything well, and helped with options. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about Whole Pet Vet. I’m so glad we found them and they’re in Wilmington. We brought our senior female cat in as a new patient and she was in need of immediate care due to dental issues and they were not only knowledgeable and kind, but listened to our concerns and wishes for Miss Angelina. They had solutions on all fronts for her and gave clear directions on her care going forward. We’re bringing in our new rescue male kitten as well and look forward to that visit. Also, their fees for service are super fair along with the excellent care they give. We more than highly recommend Whole Pet Vet to anyone and all of our friends, and I might add that Jo and Elizabeth whom I spoke with and helped get everything lined up, have been so professional and kind over the phone before we even got there and were able to fit Angelina in sooner than we needed. Also, their hours are super great and they were right in with us even when we got there a little early. Dr. Calo answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease. We know our fur babies are in great hands.

We love this place and everyone there. From the start, it was such a positive experience. I called and my boy needed to be seen immediately, Elizabeth managed to get us in quickly and was so pleasant and empathetic. Cameron is always so helpful, and thorough, and manages to create such ease in a stressful situation. Dr. Hariharan is brilliant, yet gentle (in the best way) in her approach. She went through multiple approaches with me to see what is the best option for us. I appreciate the team caring for my sweet baby. I can’t say enough about this wonderful Veterinary Hospital. 💙

I’ve had my dog for ten years and we’ve moved several times so I’ve been to a lot of vets… I can only speak to our initial intake appointment today but this was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a vet! My dog is usually hiding and stressed and whining— he usually hates waiting in the waiting room with all the other stressed patients but this whole visit he was so relaxed because of (1) the way they bring you to a room immediately and (2) the way they examined my dog, giving him time to smell the stereoscope etc. The vet was thorough and well informed on nutrition, Chinese medicine, and breed specific conditions. No doubt making this my go to vet in town 🙂
